This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) is posted for BDO LLC in Ukraine on the domain www.bdo.ua (the “Site”). This site belongs to BDO LLC (herein referred to as “BDO Ukraine” or “us” or “we”). This Privacy Policy describes our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of certain personal information (“personal data”) relating to the use of this Site by any person. Use of the Site means your understanding and compliance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

For the avoidance of doubt, this Privacy Policy refers to personal information collected through this Site, but not as a result of BDO LLC activities offline.

Under what circumstances do we collect your personal information?

Personal information

When you send us a request via e-mail or through the “Contacts” section of this Site, we will receive your name, postal address, phone number, e-mail address and other information relevant to the request/query. We will also receive personal information as part of our recruitment process. When you send job application online, you create your “Network Profile” and provide personal information that includes your name, postal address, phone number, e-mail address and other information relevant to the recruitment. Such personal information is stored only for the period necessary to fulfill your request or to consider the job application. In addition, from time to time we may collect additional personal information about you through other forms on this Site, via electronic correspondence, and also through other online tools. The necessary personal information will be minimal, solely to allow BDO to promptly process your requests or queries. In certain circumstances, additional information may be requested that will enable us to provide the most appropriate response to your request or query, or in order to send you additional information in cases you indicated that you would like to receive it. In cases where additional personal information is requested, this fact will be noted and the fulfillment of this condition is voluntary.

Collecting personal information on the Site will not be needed, except when required by law in the recruitment process. Personal information includes data relating to race or ethnicity, political views, religious or similar beliefs, union membership, physical or mental health, sexual life or criminal relationships. Where you still provide personal information in the recruitment process, this will be considered as express consent to the use of this BDO information for the purposes for which it was provided.

Technical information

When visiting this Site, we may collect technical information, which alone cannot identify you by name. This information may include, for example, your IP (Internet Protocol) address, which pages you visit on this Site, other pages that you visit on the Internet and what browser you used to view this Site. When requesting materials or requesting to contact you, you may be given the opportunity to receive additional information of interest. Company BDO reserves the right to use contact emails and/or contact phone number of persons who have left their data on the company's website for e-mail, sms mailings and transactional messages in order to further inform about our products and/or services that may be interesting for you. You can always unsubscribe from BDO messages by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link that appears in all messages.

Do we share your personal information?

We can provide your personal information to service providers who, on our behalf, process the information in accordance with the data processing agreement; however, we do not share, sell or distribute personal information to others.
